Alexandria

The Islamic New Year holiday gave us a long weekend, so we took the train to Alexandria. It was cold and rainy the first day, but cleared to being bright and windy for the second day. We stayed at a hotel downtown with an ocean view. Our guide took us around to several ancient sites from the Roman times, but this is also a beautiful resort city.
